Here we are halfway through February and I’m welcoming the new year? Yes I am!
I’ve mentioned before, you can start any time you want. The first day, week, month of the year is not the only time to welcome new things. You can reflect and you can plan as your heart desires. Celebrate a new beginning or a restart any time you choose! <3 (Be sure to read to the bottom of this post to see how I’m celebrating this blogging restart.)
Around here, it’s been months of intense writing as I submitted two applications to graduate school for my Masters in Social Work. While I thought I would be able to jump right back into blogging that was certainly not the case. I needed time to decompress, in a major way. I put so much of my heart and soul into those applications, and especially the written statements, that I needed time to recharge and I am so happy that I gave myself permission.
So now I’m back! (not from outer space ;) I am energized and ready to write again this year. To encourage and to inspire through creativity, mindfulness, and, as always, by wholeheartedly embracing vulnerability.
What to Expect
The current plan for 2016 is two posts per week, one on Tuesday and one on Friday. I also plan on continuing with the Take a Moment series, which is a favorite of mine. So be sure to check back! Join the mailing list to get the newest posts straight to your inbox.
While I’ve been quiet here, I’ve remained active on Instagram sharing bits and pieces of my life in the hopes of encouraging and inspiring you. Follow me @mindfulmemorykeeping.
Love this in-depth interview with Jen Louden, an inspiration in the creative women community.

In addition, I’ve been using the Mindful Memory Keeping Facebook page as a place to share an abundance of helpful articles and resources on creativity, mindfulness, and vulnerability. You can like the page here and if you want to be notified when a new Facebook post goes up click on the “Liked” dropdown menu and set notifications to “All Posts.”
Pinterest is still a popular place to get inspired and we have an amazing Pinterest Group Board called Mindfulness and Meditation. Head over that way and give it a follow to see the best mindfulness, meditation, intentional living, and self-care links from around the web as shared by myself and other group board members including Julie Fiandt, Lauren Fowler, and Katy Allred.

If loved to add the word art to a lonely wall in our master bedroom.

That is a beautiful idea!
Sarah Perez says
I love this! I wouldn’t decorate the actual laser cut -out. What I would do is put it up on the wall, next to my kiddo’s toy storage unit and next to the alphabet decals I have on the wall for them. Since my 3 year old is learning her letters, I would make sure it’s in a place where she could see it and touch it. Then, I would make a point to call her attention to it. We would say the words, spell the words, Sing! the words every day! Of course, I would also include my 17 month old son in this exercise too :)
marina delgado says
What a great way to not only teach about letters but to celebrate love everyday! Thanks for reading Sarah!
Jeongmin says
Hi, I have a 5 month old baby and the walls in his room need some love. This decoration sign would be the perfect start. Hope I can win! :)
marina delgado says
I think these words are perfect for a child’s bedroom. Thanks for reading Jeongmin!
Bonnie says
Welcome back to blogging! You are so right, we can start whenever we want or get back to anything whenever we want. I often have to reboot a few times a year.
marina delgado says
Thank you Bonnie! I’m happy to be back! =)
Ana says
I would probably add this to the wall my vision board lives on! They would go beautifully together.
Jessica says
If I win this, I will definitely make it all glittery and hang it in my kids’ playroom.
Patti says
So glad to see you back blogging! I totally agree, sometimes you need to take a step away to recharge. I definitely go through phases with it! Love your heart and all you are sharing.
I actually have my gallery wall in the powder room of my house bcz I figure everyone who visits usually goes in there! Although, something like this word art may have to go in my craft studio so I can be reminded of this. It’s not always easy to remember that people love us, but so important.
Charlene Canfield says
I will hang it in my office. I work at Social Services and it is a good message for everyone to see.
Kelly Bauer says
I think I would put mine in my son’s room! What a lovely reminder!
Cynthia says
Put it in my room

Amy says
Awesome! I’d love to display this at our wedding to remind all the guests that they are loved!
Adrienne says
I also love the idea about putting it in the kids’ bedroom! Maybe I would even try painting it because it appears to be the same colors as our wall. It is a stunning piece!
Kelly says
I just found out that I will be a great aunt. This would be a perfect gift to go in the baby’s room.
Liz Cooper says
Such an inspiring wall I would add this to the spot above my monitor that has been blank since December. I guess I have been saving it for something……
I could use the constant reminder to stop hustle my worth, I am enough, i am loved. Same vein of similar truths :)
Nickey says
We are closing on my dream vacation home and I selfishly want this in my master bathroom.
kathy dalton says
Thank you so much. I cant wait to receive my prize
